A case of neurilemmoma arising on nasal septum

Abstract
|

|
The patient was 46 year old Korean female with complaints of nasal obstruction, mouth breathing, headache, mucoid nasal discharge and dry sensation in the pharynx for 5 months.
Posterior portion of both nasal cavities were almost completely obstructed with dark reddish and firm tumor masses, which were easily bled by manipulation.
The tumor masses were removed with nasal forceps under local anesthesia. A small perforationwas developed on the septum after the surgery.
The pathologic examinationrevealed "Neurilemmoma".
